The Fat Radish opened in 2010 on New York City’s iconic Orchard St. in the Lower East Side. The restaurant boasts a bright rustic interior - reminiscent of London's Covent Market - with long wooden farm tables, white-washed brick walls, and a large skylight which streams light throughout the dining room. The concept of the restaurant was simple - home-cooked meals featuring vegetables at the forefront of each dish served in a warm and inviting environment.
Almost a decade later in 2019, the second location opened in downtown Savannah Georgia. The restaurant has its very own identity with floor to ceiling windows, brass and green accents, and a carefree fun and playful personality.
Most recently, The Orchard Townhouse opened it's newest spot in Chelsea.
All spots feature veg-friendly menus which source locally and take inspiration from its British roots. Although veggie-heavy, you can still find naughty items for those meat & fish lovers.
The restaurants are led by founding partner Phil Winser, managing partner Natalie Freihon, executive chef Nick Wilber, and operations director Michelle Watanabe.
